Darryl has written a memoir-style book along with a workbook to inspire his readers to believe in themselves, to challenge them to not fold under the pressures of adversity and hardships, and to empower them to WIN BIG!
In addition to his Amazon Best-Seller, "Today... I Win: When Tests Go Beyond the Classroom", he has developed two Leadership & Character Education curriculums: "C.H.A.I.R.M.A.N." and "R.I.C.H."
Darryl honorably served in the United States Marine Corps from 2000-2005. During his tenure, he deployed to Kuwait (2003) and Iraq (2004) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as well as Operation Iraqi Freedom. From the onset of his career, he adopted the same core values that continue to influence his character today. Also, Darryl developed the leadership skills that he leverages to impact his audience.
Darryl is a former At-Risk Youth turned At-Risk Interventionist. He has founded a 501(c)(3) organization, The Size Of a Man, Inc., dedicated to the mission of breaking the cycles of fatherlessness and poverty in the lives of the at-risk youth. For more info, visit https://www.SizeOfaMan.org.
Having been married to his high school sweetheart for nearly two decades, Darryl can't imagine a more fulfilling life without her.
